SEO OS: an SEO audit tool that deploys the fix and proves it landed

What has been shown
We ran SEO OS against five of our own production sites on 23 September 2026 and used it the way it is designed to be used: audit, fix, deploy, recrawl. On 28 September we tested the deployment path on our own live homepage.

What that proof does and does not show
- The sites were our own, and we make SEO OS. This is not an independent review.
- The runs used versions 3.1.3 and 3.1.4. The current version is 4.0, so they are evidence for the workflow, not a test of 4.0 specifically.
- Search Console reported the 601 uncrawled pages; SEO OS found the cause. The hub fixes were then published with Cloudflare's own command-line tool. Only the recorded homepage change went through the SEO OS connector.
- Six of SEO OS's own findings were wrong in that run, among them a page of product cards measured at 33 words instead of about 1,000. Each was reproduced, fixed and shipped in 3.1.3.
- It shows the tool finding real problems, driving the fixes and proving a deployment landed. It does not show a ranking or traffic improvement, and this page does not claim one.

Who should buy none of these
An in-house marketer with one site who needs a monthly health check. A free crawler and Search Console cover that.
The honest alternative
A dedicated crawler such as Screaming Frog is the standard tool for crawling and auditing, and offers a free version for small sites. Choose it if you need an audit report. Choose SEO OS if you also want to prioritise by commercial impact, deploy the fix and prove it landed in one workflow.
The main drawback
It runs on your machine, not as a hosted service. You manage the installation, and connector-based deployment needs a compatible target.

Questions buyers ask
Does SEO OS replace Screaming Frog?
For auditing alone, no: a dedicated crawler is better at pure crawling. SEO OS adds prioritisation, deployment and verification on top.
Is SEO OS a subscription?
No. Each edition is a one-time perpetual licence.
What does the fit guarantee require?
Run one real audit through SEO OS within 14 days. If it has not earned a place in how you deliver client work, request a refund.
Does SEO OS improve rankings?
It finds and fixes technical defects and proves each fix landed. Whether that moves rankings depends on the site, and this page makes no claim that it will.
